Invisible orthodontics
Lingual brace
A lingual brace is a fixed orthodontic appliance where the brackets are attached to the inner (lingual) side of the teeth, making them completely hidden from view.
Advantages
- Completely invisible
- Fully customized for each patient
- Suitable for treating all types of malocclusions, including complex cases
- Significant reduced risk of cavities and white spot lesions
- Faster visible improvements since the outer surfaces of the teeth remain unobstructed
Disadvantages
- Requires an adaptation period of 2 to 3 weeks for the tongue
- Mild speech difficulties may occur during the first week



Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a discreet orthodontic treatment option that gradually shifts teeth into alignment. They must be worn at all times except when eating and brushing, Aligner are changed every 7 to 14 days.
Advantages
- Minimally visible
- Fully customized for each patient
- Easier oral hygiene maintenance during treatment
- No dietary restrictions
- Nickel free, making them suitable for patients with nickel allergies
Disadvantages
- Requires high patient compliance and motivation.
- Not suitable for complex tooth movements or bite corrections
- Not entirely invisible due to the presence of attachments and plastic trays
